Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Head of Performance Marketing on behalf of a fast-growing, venture-backed legal technology company. This is a high-impact role responsible for building and scaling end-to-end paid media campaigns that drive efficient and compliant lead generation. This is direct-hire, remote position based in Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-funnel, multichannel marketing campaigns (search, social, display, email, CTV, Reddit, etc.) to drive claimant acquisition
  • Oversee creative production (video, static, motion) using tools such as Adobe CC, Canva, or Figma
  • Build, test, and optimize landing pages and funnels using CRO best practices
  • Manage media budgets and campaign targeting to hit cost-per-lead (CPL) and cost-per-acquisition (CAC) targets
  • Ensure compliance with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and legal marketing regulations
  • Manage segmented email and contact lists in marketing platforms
  • Collaborate with intake partners to optimize lead follow-up and attribution
  • Analyze performance metrics and deliver insights to leadership via dashboards and regular reporting
  • Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and emerging case opportunities to inform campaign strategy

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on performance marketing experience managing six-figure monthly budgets
  • Track record of achieving aggressive CPL/CAC goals
  • Strong creative skills with a portfolio of static and video ad examples
  • Expertise with platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit Ads, DSPs, and analytics tools (GA4, Looker, Tableau)
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and basic SQL for data analysis and attribution modeling
  • Excellent written communication and project management skills
  • Experience marketing within law firms or other highly regulated industries (pharma etc.) preferred.

Compensation:

This position offers a salary range of $180,000 to $220,000, depending on experience, plus equity and bonus potential.
