● Create and support chatbots and automation in Slack/Microsoft Teams to enable self-service actions and surface engineering insights.
● Develop frameworks and patterns that standardize how engineers write, test, and deploy code.
● Integrate with systems like GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, JIRA to improve visibility and control.
● Collaborate with engineers across teams to identify friction points and productivity challenges—and proactively address them.
● Maintain documentation and provide onboarding support for tooling and processes
●Advocate for engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement.
🛠️ Required Skills:
● 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or tooling engineer with full-stack expertise.
● Strong proficiency in Python, Go, and JavaScript.
● Solid understanding of CI/CD systems and common bottlenecks in modern development pipelines.
● Proven experience building bots or integrations for Slack and/or Microsoft Teams, including chat commands, notifications, and workflow automation.
● Hands-on experience with cloud-native development (containers, Kubernetes, cloud services).
● Experience building and maintaining internal tools used by engineering teams.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills—you enjoy partnering with other engineers to solve shared problems.
● Passion for automation, consistency, and reducing manual toil.
🌟 Nice to Have:
● Familiarity with metrics and observability tools to measure productivity (e.g., DORA, Developer Experience metrics).
● Exposure to GenAI tools for developer efficiency (e.g., code generation, prompt-based tools).
● Background in test automation, static analysis, or quality gates.
🚀
● You'll directly impact how hundreds of engineers write, test, and ship code.
● You'll work in a high-impact, collaborative team focused on removing friction and amplifying developer effectiveness.
