We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to help us execute on our biggest feature roadmap ever, specifically as we invest in our messaging experience across wearables. You’ll be a part of a collaborative cross functional team working together to understand user needs, design solutions that deliver best-in-class experiences, and identity opportunities for innovation in the messaging space.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of our users, relevant technologies, and our broader market
Work alongside a more junior designer to influence high-level design direction, organize inclusive stakeholder worksessions, and provide mentorship.
Create storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to guide design and development
Present and explain the rationale behind your designs showing thoughtful attention to data, a clear approach to design storytelling, and an eagerness to receive feedback
Rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback, peer feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics
Support and guide the front-end engineering team to faithfully implement design vision and direction, adhering to client’s product excellence principles

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Experience designing for consumer products, specifically wearables
Strong background in visual design principles and execution
Strong interest or experience in not only using design systems and frameworks but also contributing to them
Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate objectives, and advocate design excellence
Comfortable with presenting to stakeholders, and speaking on behalf of the team’s objectives and ambitions.

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour
