About the Role
Do you love building customer journeys that turn leads into loyal customers? ScaledOn is looking for an Email & SMS Marketing Automation Specialist to join our growing team. You’ll own lifecycle marketing programs across platforms like Emarsys, Klaviyo, Iterable, HubSpot, Twilio, Omnisend, and more—designing smart workflows, segmenting audiences, and delivering consistent, high-performing customer communications.
You’ll collaborate closely with our paid media and creative teams, support eCommerce and lead-gen clients, and continuously test and optimize campaigns in a remote-friendly, process-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
Campaign Execution & Optimization

Design, build, and optimize automated workflows across email and SMS.

Develop segmentation strategies to deliver timely, relevant, personalized messaging.

Manage and maintain audience data from multiple lead sources, ensuring clean, accurate lists.

Collaborate with creative and paid media teams to align messaging and timing.

Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, creative, and send times.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor campaign KPIs (deliverability, open rates, CTR, conversion).
- Translate performance data into actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
- Provide clear reporting and optimization recommendations.
Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with email/SMS marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, etc.).
- Stay on top of industry trends, platform updates, and deliverability best practices.
Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to align lifecycle campaigns with paid media, creative, and sales funnels.
- Support onboarding of new clients by setting up workflows, automations, and integrations.
Process & Innovation
- Help refine SOPs and internal processes in Asana and Notion.
- Explore AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, etc.) to improve efficiency, personalization, and performance.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing automation, with hands-on expertise in at least one major platform (Emarsys, Klaviyo, Iterable, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing.
- Skilled at building automated workflows, drip campaigns, and multi-channel customer journeys.
- Analytical mindset with proven experience optimizing campaigns based on data.
- Excellent communicator in English (written & verbal), with strong copywriting ability.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for email and SMS marketing.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in a remote setting.
- Curious about how AI can make lifecycle marketing smarter and more efficient.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with eCommerce and/or lead-gen marketing funnels.
- Familiarity with multiple platforms (e.g., Iterable, Bloomreach, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign).
- Understanding of how lifecycle marketing integrates with paid media and broader growth strategies.
- Client-facing experience in reporting and campaign strategy.
