Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript)

About the Opportunity: Our client of ours in the hospitality industry is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript) to join their expanding team. This is a chance to join a high impact and talented team of collaborative, senior engineers who will be continuing to modernize their current environment.

Overview:

• Compensation: $120-160k base salary (potential flex higher for the right person) + 10% bonus + benefits + 401k match
• Location: 100% remote flexibility (comfortable working PST hours)
• High-impact role developing in TypeScript and modernizing companies existing system further into microservices along with other technologies

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in software engineering focused on full stack TypeScript development for commercial grade applications
• Extensive experience in both client-side and server-side TypeScript development
• Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks including ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS and NodeJS/Express
• Experience with SOA and building out RESTful APIs as well as enhancing/maintaining and integrating with 3rd parties
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL (plus) databases with the ability to create stored procedures, complex queries, joins, etc.
• Experience instituting best practices such as TDD/testing methodologies (unit/integration tests) and paired programming
• Preferred experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI), container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), working in cloud environments (AWS) and leading/mentoring other engineers
