Operations, loss prevention, and IT teams get automated and actionable insights from Savi’s cloud-native video and vision AI platform to elevate in-store operational performance, drive revenue and profitability growth, and consistently deliver excellent customer experiences. Thousands of locations across top brands trust Savi to transform their in-store operations.
About the Role
A little background on Savi – Over 70% of businesses in North America have never been able to use or access their on-site video data. From radically simplifying video access, to unlocking improvements in operations with AI, to increasing on-site safety, Savi’s pioneering cloud video and computer vision technology is already impacting millions of people across North America.
We’ve been growing rapidly, and in support of our mission to unlock the power of video, we raised funding from an exceptional group of value-add investors including Next Coast Ventures, Rock Creek Capital, and talented angels.
We’re also fortunate to be advised by the best in the industry, including the former President of Burger King, the inventor of variable-bitrate streaming, and domain experts in video, multi-site operations, and security.
At Savi, we're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join us in building Savi’s industry-leading cloud video, data integrations, and vision AI platform to help transform physical operations at brick-and-mortar stores globally.
Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Elixir, a passion for clean and efficient code, and a successful track record of owning high impact projects end-to-end.
We believe that building great software is a team sport and that we need a great team in order to deliver. We look for great teammates in addition to great engineers. We value openness, working well with others, helping others who need it, and actively seeking help when you need it. We work to provide continuous mentoring, coaching, and opportunities to learn and grow individually, and as a team.
Our Engineering team is remote first and has been for years. We believe the most important things are vision, people, and healthy teams. We believe in autonomy and treating people like adults. We have regular hackathons, team games, and have a flexible, fun work environment.
Our commitment to growth and excellence has led our team to presenting at ElixirConf for multiple years running, DevOpsDays conferences, CodeBEAM, and The Big Elixir, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with a remarkably talented small team, and make an outsized impact to the technical success of the organization tackling difficult problems across different domains.
