Lead Data Scientist

We’re partnering with a nationally leading healthcare organization, backed by a private equity firm serving millions of members across the U.S., with an emphasis on accessibility and personalized health management. They are searching for a Lead Data Scientist to help transition their system from vendor-based legacy infrastructure more in-house. The current solution shows strong potential but requires significant improvement across the data pipeline, modeling pipeline, and overall MLOps architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and production readiness.

You would be working on a patient machine learning model, working on various different aspects on how data is accessed and engineered to effectively meet business objectives and changes the way healthcare data is utilized, improving patient care and having something at the end of the day you can be excited to have worked on. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an existing model, evaluate its foundations, and lead it to a production-grade state that can make a real impact in patient care.

The ideal candidate would have a background in healthcare or clinical data environment, a track record of leading a machine learning project from inception to production deployment, a deep understanding of MLOps pipelines, model tuning, model versioning, and model governance, and finally strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
