Marketing Lead

Please note, the successful candidate will need to be able to work in a hybrid capacity from either London, Paris, Berlin, Munich or Stockholm

Our client, an established early-stage venture capital firm with a strong track record of backing some of Europe’s most successful startups is seeking a Marketing Lead to join its successful Comms and Marketing team.

In this role, you’ll help shape how the firm communicates their brand - across social media, events, PR, and beyond, while also supporting portfolio companies in telling their own stories.

The position places a strong emphasis on creative content development, with an eye toward using emerging AI tools to enhance storytelling and visual output. It’s an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic marketing function at the forefront of the startup ecosystem.

Role:

• Lead the development of innovative marketing strategies that align with and support the company’s broader marketing objectives.
• Ensure consistent brand application across all channels and content.
• Design and produce visual assets to support a range of marketing initiatives, including social media, event branding, and video content.
• Manage relationships with freelance and agency design partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee the company website, including maintenance, upgrades, and collaboration with external developers.
• Drive the adoption and effective use of AI tools within the marketing function.
• Provide marketing and communications support to portfolio companies, including assistance with fundraising announcements.
• Collaborate closely with the investment team to deliver tailored marketing support, from event branding to social media content.
• Partner with the Events Coordinator to execute high-impact events and shape the overall events strategy.
• Set quarterly marketing objectives and KPIs, and track progress toward achieving them.

Requirements:

• Extensive marketing experience with expertise in communications, strategy, content development, design, and digital execution.
• Deep interest in emerging technologies and a proactive approach to experimenting with new innovations, particularly in startup environments.
• Strong visual design capabilities across various formats, including web, social media, video, motion graphics, and presentations.
• Skilled in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva, with a keen eye for design, layout, and maintaining brand consistency.
• Technically adaptable and quick to learn and navigate new digital tools and platforms.
• Strong project management abilities with a track record of successfully leading content initiatives from concept to delivery.
