Role Summary

We are seeking a Mid-level Web Developer with strong WordPress expertise to support the development, optimization, and maintenance of digital platforms. This role requires excellent technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and fluency in English to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, templates, plugins).
• Implement front-end updates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ensuring responsive and accessible design.
• Support backend tasks such as configuring plugins, optimizing performance, managing databases, and handling integrations.
• Implement third-party integrations (CRM forms, marketing tools, analytics, etc.).
• Ensure websites meet performance, security, and SEO technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently (bugs, responsiveness problems, form errors, plugin conflicts).
• Perform regular updates, backups, testing, and QA before deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute planned website enhancements and features.
• Document technical changes, configurations, and processes.
• Contribute to improving workflows, quality standards, and development practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Web Developer or WordPress Developer.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, including custom themes, child themes, plugins, and site configuration.
• Solid understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST API usage.
• Experience optimizing site speed, caching, and security.
• Ability to work with Git and GitHub, including branching, version control workflows, and pull requests.
• Experience working with designs from Figma or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and ownership of task completion.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and spoken).
• Reliable, organized, and able to deliver work on time.

Work Setup Requirements

• To perform this role effectively, you must have:
• A quiet home office space to work optimally.
• A stable internet connection (minimum 100 MB).
• A laptop/desktop with updated software.
• A secondary backup internet option to ensure reliability.
