🚀 Director, Product Marketing – AI Data Infrastructure

Location: Remote (East Coast preferred)

Type: Full-time | Competitive Base + Bonus

What You’ll Do:

  • As our Director, Product marketing, this role reports directly into our CEO. You will operate as a one-person team - taking their product messaging, sales enablement, and technical assets from 0 to 1. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of data infrastructure, cloud platforms, and AI-driven solutions, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with enterprise and mid-market customers.

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Own and refine Nexus Cognitive’s value proposition, ensuring clarity and consistency across all assets.

  • Technical Storytelling: Translate complex AI and data solutions into compelling, customer-centric narratives.

  • Sales Enablement: Develop enterprise and mid-market sales materials, including decks, battle cards, competitive intelligence, and product FAQs.

  • Product Documentation: Create clear and engaging technical documentation to help customers and sales teams understand our platform.

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research, track industry trends, and ensure our messaging is differentiated and compelling.

  • Customer & Partner Enablement: Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering to ensure seamless communication of our solutions.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise software, with a preference for AI, data infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of open-source technologies, enterprise software applications, SaaS, databases, and cloud computing to be able to understand and articulate complex technological concepts.
  • Prior experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong technical acumen—understands data, cloud, AI/ML, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • History of 0 to 1 building and scaling successful global channel programs. Ability to work independently without direction–this is a foundational hire.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and technical sales teams.
