About the Role
The Senior Software Product Marketing Manager will turn product plans into go-to-market strategies grounded in validated market problems. Working closely with Software Product
Management and teams across the company, this person will define target personas, positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and the commercial resources needed for successful product launches.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine primary persona profiles with Software Product Management and Product Owners.
- Develop competitive positioning frameworks and differentiated messaging for key market segments.
- Own the GTM Strategy and Requirements Plan for each release.
- Define target personas, value propositions, messaging, competitive positioning, and commercial plays.
- Develop messaging, content, and assets for marketing programs and campaigns.
- Track campaign engagement and conversion, and maintain the supporting content calendar.
- Train the sales team and equip resellers and channel partners with effective positioning and content.
- Act as a subject matter expert and spokesperson for customers, press, and industry events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of marketing or product management experience.
- Experience with music recording and creation technology is strongly preferred.
- Experience with the Pragmatic Institute framework, including outside-in messaging and persona-driven positioning.
- Strong data literacy and reporting skills, including using product-led growth motions and data to guide decisions.
- Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience across marketing areas such as brand, social, artist, growth, or lifecycle is preferred.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, or equivalent Google Workspace tools.

- Base salary: $125,000 to $135,000 per year.
