Overview:
We are seeking a results-oriented Vendor Marketing Program Manager to support a high-performing team within a fast-paced retail organization. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, and program execution. You’ll oversee vendor marketing campaigns, collaborate cross-functionally to bring partner initiatives to life, and drive impactful media strategies across digital and social platforms. This position focuses on managing marketing programs funded by brand partners, ensuring successful campaign execution, vendor satisfaction, accurate billing, and insightful performance reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong relationship management skills, excellent communication, and proven experience within retail media networks.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner-funded campaigns within the retail media ecosystem.
- Intake campaign requests from merchandising teams and onboard vendor partners into the marketing process.
- Develop and manage campaign briefs, timelines, and deliverables that align with vendor goals.
- Partner with paid media teams to implement high-performing, targeted campaigns, with a strong focus on social and digital activations.
- Collaborate with internal departments—including merchandising, creative, media, and analytics—to execute campaigns from start to finish.
- Schedule and facilitate regular meetings to align stakeholders and maintain momentum across projects.
- Monitor campaign success through detailed reporting and post-campaign recaps.
- Manage invoicing and ensure accurate financial tracking for vendor-funded initiatives.
- Stay ahead of retail media trends and continuously evaluate opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with brand partners, providing exceptional service throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Strategize with partners on media placements, targeting strategies, creative direction, and ROI objectives.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on strategy, and within scope and budget.
- Analyze campaign performance to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Identify opportunities to extend vendor partnerships through upselling, renewals, or expanded marketing solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in account management, client services, brand marketing, or partner marketing.
- 5+ years of experience building and executing integrated marketing strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong experience in retail media network sales and media planning is essential.
- Proven ability to manage brand partnerships and collaborate with external vendors.
- Background in the retail or apparel sector is highly preferred.
- Experience developing and managing annual brand or marketing partnership plans.
- Familiarity with creative and content development processes, including working with designers and copywriters.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic ideas into actionable marketing plans.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Skilled at influencing stakeholders and aligning teams around shared objectives.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
