Job Title: Senior Product Marketing Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months contract
As the Lead Product Marketing Manager for off to on platform campaigns, you have the opportunity to shape not only your role but also drive awareness of key consumer brand moments and grow adoption of retention-driving features. You will increase engagement by influencing the product and marketing teams to simplify and improve user journeys with key experiences. You will be the voice of our pinner products to the market and the voice of the Pinners back into the product and marketing team, with the ultimate goal of increasing value for Pinners.
- Lead end-to-end GTM strategy & execution for revenue and growth-driving in-product marketing campaigns (including strategic positioning, creative briefing, and launch ops).
- Drive best-in-class in-product experiences, tapping into your market knowledge to help product and marketing teams identify and prioritize the most impactful work on some of our largest consumer brand moments.
- Deeply understand target user segments and priority insights (what resonates, when, in which channels) to drive desired behaviors by audience segment to both influence product and guide in-product marketing tactics
- Develop and deliver all Lifecycle in-product marketing creative briefs with clear guidance on messaging and art direction to grow user awareness and adoption of retention-driving features.
- Establish best practices and center of excellence on product marketing approaches. Communicate recommendations and learnings to the broader organization and feed insights that update in-product creative best practices
- Socialize actionable, timely insights and findings with cross functional partners to inform/influence key decisions and planning
- Stakeholder Management: Set up and communicate processes with marketing and creative teams to ensure timely and effective launch of all consumer brand moments
Skills
- Exceptional consumer product marketing skills.
- 8+ years of experience in Consumer Tech Product Marketing. You have experience leading engagement and retention marketing with in-product notifications, driving product adoption campaigns in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You are deeply analytical and comfortable with data-driven consumer segmentation and finding opportunities for growth experimentation.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter. You thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, and are independently capable of seeking information, corralling resources, and delivering results without waiting for direction. Scrappy, creative problem solver who is able to work around constraints to maximize test and learn opportunities. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results-oriented output. Excellent project management and prioritization skills are required.
- Experience delivering creative briefs to creative teams/agencies for
- Strong communication skills. You can move seamlessly between conversing with engineers, PMMs or Designers and leading presentations with C-level executives.
- High-energy, positive team player. You have a proven ability to build strong working relationships with business partners; this is a highly cross-functional role, so a low ego and a high instinct for collaboration are musts. Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize user needs and influencing decision making through data.
- Keen aptitude to scale the team. Help build out processes for a small (but mighty) team. Help build our influence across the organization to tackle each of the above for your coverage area.
