Title: Product Design Sourcer (Contract)

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite/Hybrid) or Fully Remote

Contract Duration: 6-month contract with high probability of extending to 12 months

As they continue to grow, they’re seeking a Product Design Sourcer to join their team and help identify and engage exceptional design talent to shape innovative, human-centered products.

In this role, you’ll play an essential part in building high-impact design teams by identifying and engaging exceptional Product and Marketing Design talent. You’ll collaborate directly with design leaders to develop sourcing strategies, create robust talent pipelines, and ensure alignment with the organization’s culture and mission-driven focus.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with design leadership to create strategic sourcing plans that attract top design talent inspired to make a meaningful impact.
• Conduct market research and build comprehensive talent maps to stay ahead of industry trends and proactively identify strong candidates.
• Execute targeted searches and craft thoughtful, personalized outreach to engage designers who bring a mix of creativity, craft, and enthusiasm for transformative technology.
• Maintain a data-driven approach to track candidates and manage healthy, proactive pipelines that adapt to the evolving needs of design teams.
• Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with exceptional design talent, identifying potential future leaders and ensuring ongoing engagement.

Qualifications:

• Keen eye for identifying high-quality product and brand design talent, with an understanding of what makes designers successful in their craft.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to partner effectively with senior leaders, hiring managers, and creative talent at all levels.
• Experience using data and insights to inform and optimize sourcing strategies and pipelines.
• Adaptable, curious, and resilient, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and professional communication skills that keep stakeholders and candidates informed and engaged.
