About the Opportunity

Our client, a global leader in AI data engineering and enrichment, is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join their growing People team. This role reports directly to the VP of Human Resources and partners closely with the company's LA-based recruiting lead to build out engineering, data science, and AI/ML talent pipelines from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives on direct sourcing — not someone waiting for candidates to come to them.

What You'll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across AI/ML, data science, and AML (Applied Machine Learning) engineering
• Partner directly with hiring managers to define requirements, build hiring strategy, and drive process — including pushing back and advocating for the right approach when needed
• Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies rather than relying on inbound pipelines
• Manage a high-volume requisition load across multiple concurrent searches
• Represent the client's employer brand and candidate experience in a competitive AI talent market

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Proven full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally including direct sourcing (not primarily agency-fed or inbound-driven)
• Experience recruiting for AI/ML, Data Scientist, or Applied ML Engineer roles
• Comfort and confidence navigating difficult, demanding hiring managers directly
• A track record of building pipeline in competitive markets without relying on strong inbound employer brand pull
• Bonus: experience recruiting for prompt engineering, data annotation, audio engineering, or robotics roles
