Tell the Story of AI That Actually Works
At Runelab.ai, we're not your typical AI consultancy. We blend Nordic wisdom with cutting-edge technology to deliver corporate training and consulting that transforms how organizations approach artificial intelligence. Our name isn't just branding, it's a philosophy: ancient runes were tools for communication and knowledge transfer, and that's exactly what we do with AI.
We're building something remarkable: a community of practitioners, a portfolio of real-world deployments (from Smart Spaces in hospitality to enterprise ML systems), and a reputation for making complex AI accessible. But here's the challenge: our story is being told in fragments across platforms, and our technical brilliance isn't translating into the digital presence it deserves.
We need a Social Media Strategist who speaks fluent AI.
You won't just be scheduling posts. You'll be the voice that bridges our engineering depth with the executives, practitioners, and organisations who need to understand why our approach matters. You'll turn our projects, ML training programmes, and consultancy wins into narratives that educate, inspire, and convert.
What You'll Do
1. Strategic Content Creation
- Craft compelling social media strategies across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube that position Runelab.ai as thought leaders in practical AI deployment
- Translate complex technical projects (computer vision systems, MLOps pipelines, edge AI deployments) into engaging narratives that resonate with C-suite executives, technical leads, and aspiring ML practitioners
- Develop content calendars that balance educational content, client success stories, thought leadership, and community engagement
2. Technical Storytelling
- Interview our engineers, consultants, and clients to extract compelling stories from technical work
- Create digestible breakdowns of our projects (e.g., "How we reduced hotel queue times by 40% using edge AI") that showcase value without drowning in jargon
- Write and coordinate technical blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers that demonstrate our expertise
3. Brand Building with Nordic Flair
- Evolve and maintain our distinctive Nordic-themed brand voice across all platforms
- Design visual content strategies that blend our mythological roots with modern AI aesthetics (We have dedicated designer that you can work with, but you are responsible for creating the concept of the post so that designer can make your vision come to life)
- Ensure consistency in messaging while adapting tone for different audiences (corporate clients, ML engineers, training participants)
4. Community Growth & Engagement
- Build and nurture our online community; responding to comments, sparking discussions, and identifying opportunities for engagement
- Collaborate with our ML Advocate Engineer to amplify educational content and community initiatives
- Monitor social listening to identify trends, opportunities, and reputation management needs
5. Performance & Analytics
- Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics, content performance, and ROI
- Run A/B tests on content formats, posting times, and messaging strategies
- Use insights to continuously refine our approach and demonstrate business impact
6. Campaign Execution
- Launch and manage campaigns around our training programmes, new projects, conference appearances, and thought leadership initiatives
- Coordinate with external partners, clients (where appropriate), and our internal team for co-marketing opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Technical Fluency: You don't need to be an ML engineer, but you must be able to read technical documentation, understand AI/ML concepts (computer vision, NLP, MLOps, edge computing), and ask engineers the right questions. You can distinguish between genuine innovation and buzzword bingo.
- 3+ years in social media management with a proven track record of growing B2B audiences, particularly in tech or professional services
- Portfolio of Impact: Show us campaigns you've run, content you've created, and metrics you've moved. We want to see your writing samples, especially technical or educational content.
- Content Creation Skills: Strong writing and editing abilities. Comfort with creating or coordinating visual content (graphics, short videos, infographics). Bonus if you can edit video or use design tools like Figma/Canva.
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of LinkedIn algorithms, Twitter/X for thought leadership, and YouTube for educational content. Experience with social media management tools.
- Strategic Mindset: You think beyond "posts and likes" to how social media ladders up to business goals: lead generation, talent acquisition, brand authority, community building.
- Strong English skills: Our goal is to become international. You write clearly, persuasively, and without errors in English.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)
- Background in STEM, tech journalism, or technical writing
- Experience in the AI/ML, SaaS, or consultancy space
- Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and marketing automation tools
- Experience managing paid social campaigns
- Personal interest in Scandinavian culture, design, or mythology (we're serious about the Nordic theme!)
- Video production and editing skills
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and B2B lead generation
