Lead Software Engineer

You’ll be working directly with our CAO, CEO, and two Associate Engineers to architect, build, maintain, and expand our existing apps and to champion our new technology ventures.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is ready to lead a team, to set SDLC and pace, and to develop new SAAS of their own. We’re an agile dev environment, with a focused yet relaxed culture where an autonomous and motivated engineer will flourish.  This is a role for someone who knows they’ve always had more to offer – bring that hunger to RABS. We’re the industry leader for a reason; we expect creativity, effort, initiative, and good ideas.

Daily, you’re going to write code, build features and fixes, and guide our Associate Engineers. On day one, you’ll be expected to start learning the stack, to begin bonding with and mentoring the dev team, and to begin working on features.

In one year, expect to expand and improve our existing apps, to lead the launches of our new services, to help set company engineering policy, to work in our security and SOC2 initiatives, and to celebrate as our products flourish.

We have a highly communicative team that brims with energy and focus. The Lead Software Engineer must bring aptitudes in communication and management, as part of the role will be cultivating the talents of our two Associate Engineers and, with time, growing the team beyond three engineers. As much as we expect you to deliver excellent code yourself – we expect you to bring out the best in the team. Optimization is the operative word of the year.
