Ruca is looking for a Visual & Motion Designer to join our PH team—someone who loves to make brands move, quite literally. If you're equal parts visual storyteller and motion wizard, and know how to make a message land through design, animation, and pure creative energy, we’d love to meet you.

In this role, you’ll partner with our global team to create thoughtful, visually compelling work across digital platforms. From bold brand expressions to slick social reels and engaging product explainers, your work won’t just catch eyes—it’ll tell stories and bring ideas to life with intention. You’ll blend strong visual fundamentals with motion design mastery to bring concepts to life.

We’re looking for someone who is already actively using emerging AI tools, understands how they can improve workflows, applies them thoughtfully to real client work, and shares learnings and best practices with the wider team.

Responsibilities

• A compelling storyteller through visual design
• Apply visual design principles (hierarchy, color theory, typography) to create visually appealing designs
• Create motion graphics for digital platforms—web, mobile, social, presentations, ads, and more
• Collaborate with creative and brand teams to develop visual narratives and elevate the brand’s motion language
• Design across formats, ensuring every asset—static or animated—feels cohesive and on-brand
• Edit video content and layer in animation, effects, and other elements to amplify storytelling
• Articulate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually, to stakeholders while welcoming feedback
• Translate business goals and user needs into visuals that are beautiful and functional across channels and devices
• Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end
• Stay up to date on the motion, AI and design trends—experimenting with new formats, tools, and creative directions

Ideal profile

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Prior experience as a Visual Designer/Motion Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects
• Proven experience in visual designing for multiple channels and digital devices
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Premiere Pro, and/or video editing/animation tools
• Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions in english
• Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and operates with reasonable flexibility
• Well-organized, responsible, and dedicated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver refined designs within tight deadlines
• Highly proactive, enjoys solving problems creatively
• Pays pragmatic attention to detail
• Has a deep understanding of visual design standards, typography, iconography, and color theory
• Has a keen eye for design and aesthetics
• Experience with fast-growing companies and/or design agency is a plus
• Experience in 3D modeling and animation is a plus
