Ruca is looking for a curious, creative, and user-obsessed Digital Designer to join our PH team. If you love solving real problems through intuitive, beautiful design—and care just as much about how something works as how it looks—this might be your next move.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our global team to design digital experiences that are seamless, scalable, and human-centered. From wireframes to fully polished prototypes, you’ll bring ideas to life in ways that are thoughtful, functional, and always grounded in user needs.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Design:

Partner with clients, product managers, and engineers to turn requirements and ideas into clear, usable design solutions
Design responsive, mobile-first interfaces across platforms, with scalable UI systems and reusable components
Build smart, flexible design systems in Figma—complete with organized variables, components, and libraries
Create mockups and prototypes that clearly communicate interaction patterns and design logic
Maintain visual consistency through well-defined systems for layout, color, typography, and interaction
Present your work, gather feedback, and iterate quickly based on user and team input

Visual Design:

Create visuals for web, mobile, email, social, print, presentations, and pitch decks—all with brand consistency in mind
Design marketing materials (ads, banners, social graphics) that support business goals and drive engagement
Ensure a polished, cohesive brand experience across every touchpoint

QUALIFICATIONS

Background & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience).
5–10 years of experience in UX/UI or product design
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, problem-solving, and systems thinking
Experience designing across multiple platforms and devices (web, mobile, etc.)
Previous work in both B2B and B2C environments
Experience developing and maintaining design systems
Agency or startup experience is a bonus

Skills & Tools:

Mastery of Figma, with strong fundamentals in components, variables, and libraries
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; bonus if you know prototyping tools or motion (like After Effects)
Strong understanding of interaction design, responsive design, and accessibility principles
Fluent in English (written and spoken), with the ability to clearly communicate design rationale
Deep knowledge of visual design principles—typography, color theory, layout, iconography
Familiar with user research methods, usability testing, and facilitation techniques (e.g., sketching, card sorting, workshops)
Comfortable presenting work to internal and client teams, with a thoughtful, collaborative approach
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
