Senior Software Engineer

Rate: €425-€450 per day

Location: Remote, must be based in Poland

Duration: 6 or 12 months initially, view to extend

We’re looking for a versatile Software Engineer with SRE capabilities to support and enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure and applications. This is a freelance B2B role ideally suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is comfortable owning systems end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining workflows in github actions
• Creating and maintaining terraform configuration
• Writing python scripts together with unit and integration tests
• AWS serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step functions, DynamoDB)
• Building API endpoints and backends
• Git operations

Generic knowledge in:

• Ansible (Ansible Automation Platform)
• Network (routers, switches, network protocols)

Familiar with:

• Agile methodology
• Jira and confluence tools

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software engineering or SRE roles.
• Proficiency in cloud-native infrastructure and tooling.
• Solid knowledge of infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools and debugging distributed systems.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a freelance/contractor setup.
• Fluent in English; collaborative and pragmatic mindset.
