Full-Stack Developer - Remote

Roxxem is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer with expertise in building full-stack web applications to join our collaborative team as we work towards revolutionizing language learning.

• Independent Contractor
• Location: Remote (Americas-based time zone)
• Compensation: $3500 - 4000 USD/month

Job Summary

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack web applications for Roxxem. If you are passionate about software development, have a strong background in both interactive user interfaces and robust backend systems, and are eager to contribute to our mission of transforming language learning, we encourage you to apply.

Required Technical Skills

Frontend Skills:

• TypeScript
• Next.js
• Tailwind CSS (ShadCN a plus)
• Experience with state management (MobX a plus)

Backend Skills:

• Node.js
• Express
• MongoDB
• Mongoose

Required Soft Skills

• Excellent English and Spanish (written/verbal)
• Startup mentality
• Self-directed
• Strong problem solver

Nice-to-Have

• EdTech experience
• Passion for language learning and/or teaching
• Experience with Figma
• Experience with Firebase
