We're partnering with Workday to find a talented Senior Graphic Designer to help bring their flagship annual event, Workday Rising, to life.
About the Role
Workday is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, Event Graphic Designer to join our talented in-house Marketing Creative Services team. The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for creating engaging experiences that promote Workday at our largest event of the year, Workday Rising. Must have a solid foundation in experiential design and production with digital and 3D work a plus.
This role requires traditional design skills, but will also challenge the designer to create new, innovative ways to reach and influence our audiences. This candidate must know and understand how to follow brand guidelines and styles and adapt them for the needs of the audience in creative executions.This role works directly with Senior Art Directors and Senior Creative Directors, as well as Creative Managers and PMO teams Applicants must be multi-faceted, multi-disciplined, with a willingness to learn new skills and processes and understand how to create a customer journey within a space.
We believe creating an engaging customer journey for our attendees, whether it’s customers or prospects, is essential to a successful event. This individual must be able to demonstrate (via online portfolio) knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with visual design and storytelling via design & mockups. This position is a full-time contract role.

The Skill Set
- 5+ years event design experience, trade show booths a plus.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in print production, especially in large-scale applications.
- Knowledge of Figma is a plus, but not required
- A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of experiential design
- Strong eye for typography and layout
- Solid digital design awareness
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
- Desire to continue learning and willingness to embrace new skill sets
- Attention to detail to create flawless production files
- Strong collaborator and self-starter
