VP Of CRM and Marketing Technology

Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, data-driven Vice President of CRM with deep experience in CRM strategy, implementation, and optimization—particularly within Salesforce Marketing Cloud environments. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who is equally comfortable diving into SQL as they are leading teams and collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to lead CRM transformation in evolving, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the optimization and deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a newly implemented Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- Drive and support multichannel marketing initiatives with a strong focus on data and performance.
- Query, analyze, and manipulate large datasets to generate insights that inform campaign and CRM strategy.
- Write SQL to extract, segment, and interpret data for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Launch new platform functionalities, including SMS and other outbound communication tools.
- Manage and develop a fully remote CRM team:
- 2 CRM Managers
- 1 Operations Manager with 3–4 direct reports
- Partner closely with the VP of Insights and cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and data.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record implementing and deploying CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong command of data analytics, SQL, and marketing technology.
- Experience with CDP tools, especially during the implementation and optimization phases.
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including automation, segmentation, and personalization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale teams in a remote and dynamic work environment.
- Experience launching new CRM capabilities (e.g., SMS) is highly desirable.
- Self-starter with the ability to provide structure and leadership in an evolving CRM environment.
Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 70/hr to 80/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
