Project Manager - Systems

Salary: $60.00 to $65.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the systems industry, located in Douglasville, Georgia, United States. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directing projects related to the Epicor Consultant, ensuring effective and efficient application of 'Epicor' and 'Accounting Control' skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management process, ensuring smooth execution and implementation.
• Utilize your Epicor skills to enhance project outcomes and deliverables.
• Apply accounting control principles to manage project resources effectively.
• Oversee the coordination of project tasks and ensure they align with the project objectives.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related matters.
• Resolve project-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of project activities.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
• Ensure all project activities comply with company and industry standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in using Epicor software, with a focus on its application in project management scenarios.
• Solid understanding of accounting control principles and their implementation in managing projects.
• Proven track record in managing complex systems-related projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Detail oriented certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing budgets and financial aspects of projects.
• Familiarity with other project management tools and software is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
