Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the systems industry, located in Douglasville, Georgia, United States. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directing projects related to the Epicor Consultant, ensuring effective and efficient application of 'Epicor' and 'Accounting Control' skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project management process, ensuring smooth execution and implementation.
- Utilize your Epicor skills to enhance project outcomes and deliverables.
- Apply accounting control principles to manage project resources effectively.
- Oversee the coordination of project tasks and ensure they align with the project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related matters.
- Resolve project-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of project activities.
- Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
- Ensure all project activities comply with company and industry standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Epicor software, with a focus on its application in project management scenarios.
- Solid understanding of accounting control principles and their implementation in managing projects.
- Proven track record in managing complex systems-related projects from inception to completion.
- Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Detail oriented certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial aspects of projects.
- Familiarity with other project management tools and software is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
