Product Designer
Remote 3-6 month long contract
Summary
We are seeking a talented Product Designer to lead the end-to-end redesign of our fintech platform’s website. This role will be responsible for transforming our current experience into a modern, user-friendly, and conversion-focused design that builds trust with customers and drives engagement. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive user experiences that balance business goals, compliance requirements, and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full design lifecycle of the website redesign—from discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity prototypes and design handoff.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and regulatory constraints unique to fintech.
- Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain a design system to ensure brand consistency and scalability.
- Create responsive, accessible designs optimized for web and mobile experiences.
- Partner with developers to ensure accurate design implementation and maintain quality through launch.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and customer behavior post-launch.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, ideally in fintech, finance, or other regulated industries.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in website redesigns and user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design solutions.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working across cross-functional teams.
- Bonus: Experience working on fintech products or with complex financial data.
Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 65/hr to 70/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
