Marketing Strategist

We are seeking a Contract Agency Marketing Strategist to support a new business pitch tied to a prospective client opportunity. This role is ideal for a strategic marketer with strong agency experience, a sharp business development mindset, and deep shopper/trade marketing expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and develop marketing strategy for a new business/pitch opportunity
• Bring senior-level strategic thinking to pitch development and business development efforts
• Partner closely with creative, account, and cross-functional agency teams to shape pitch materials and recommendations
• Translate client business challenges into clear, insight-driven marketing strategies
• Contribute to the development of strategic positioning, messaging, and go-to-market thinking
• Help craft persuasive pitch storytelling rooted in strong marketing fundamentals and trade/shopper expertis

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in marketing strategy, ideally within an agency environment
• Proven experience supporting new business pitches and broader business development initiatives
• Trade/shopper marketing experience is required
• Ability to contribute at a senior strategist level
• Collaborative approach with experience working across creative, account, and strategy teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Background

• Agency experience supporting brand, retail, shopper, or trade marketing initiatives
• Experience building strategic frameworks and pitch narratives for prospective clients
• Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven pitch environment
