We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on a contract basis. In this role, you will develop engaging eLearning courses tailored to technical training within the financial services industry. This position requires creativity, collaboration, and the ability to transform complex concepts into accessible learning materials.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build self-paced eLearning modules using tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refine and enhance course content, ensuring clarity and relevance.
• Translate technical training materials into structured storyboards that align with instructional design best practices.
• Manage the end-to-end development of eLearning courses, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Simplify complex financial and accounting topics into relatable and interactive learning experiences.
• Incorporate innovation and AI-driven solutions to improve content creation and learner engagement.
• Provide regular updates to project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
• Build strong relationships with SMEs to guide them through the course development process.
• Apply creativity and storytelling techniques to make technical content relatable and engaging.
• Ensure all courses adhere to quality standards and meet organizational objectives.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in instructional design or eLearning development.
• Expertise in using eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and systems.
• Proven ability to create training materials for technical content within the finance or accounting industry.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities to oversee course development timelines and deliverables.
• Creativity and enthusiasm to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to course design.
• Familiarity with integrating AI technologies into eLearning content development.
