We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Director of Digital Marketing to lead our digital strategy across both B2C and B2B audiences. This leader will oversee end-to-end lifecycle marketing, oversee MarTech infrastructure, drive digital channel performance, and partner closely with product, commercial, and operations teams to accelerate acquisition, growth and engagement.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated success marketing a customer-facing mobile app, building multi-channel lifecycle campaigns, and managing modern marketing technology, including CDPs and platforms like Iterable, Segment and Salesforce Pardot. This role will also own our consumer website strategy and the digital experience that supports our broader customer journey while playing a significant role in building our rewards and loyalty program.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a holistic digital marketing strategy across B2B and B2C segments.
- Provide regular performance reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team.
Lifecycle & Growth Marketing
- Own lifecycle strategy and execution across push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS, email and digital advertising.
- Develop personalized, automated, and data-informed journeys that drive acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Partner with Product and CX teams to optimize the end-to-end customer experience across digital touchpoints.
MarTech & Data
- Oversee marketing technology stack, including responsibility for customer automation platform Iterable, the customer data platform Segment (CDP), attribution system Branch.io, and the client account management platform Salesforce Pardot.
- Ensure strong data governance and leverage insights to improve targeting, segmentation, and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to monitor KPIs, build dashboards, and guide data-driven decision-making.
- Quarterback touchpoint integrations (data hook, API and SDK) with product and sales operations to ensure an authentic consumer and client journey.
Consumer Web & Digital Experience
- Own consumer website strategy (marketplace, member rewards, partner offers), content, performance, and optimization roadmap.
- Partner with internal and external teams to enhance UX, conversion paths, and personalization.
Mobile App & Loyalty Program
- Lead digital marketing efforts to drive mobile app adoption, usage, and retention.
- Own strategy for optimizing loyalty and rewards programs, ensuring seamless integration with partner offers and third party platforms across digital channels and touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Commercial, CX, and Engineering stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Partner with creative teams to ensure messaging consistency and compelling digital content.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing with success in both B2B and B2C environments.
- Proven experience driving user engagement with a consumer mobile app (required).
- Deep expertise with developing and optimizing lifecycle marketing campaigns across push, in-app, SMS, and email that yield attributable revenue creation through user acquisition and engagement.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation (bonus points for Iterable and Salesforce experience), customer data (bonus points for Segment experience) and consumer journey optimization platforms.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
- Experience overseeing website strategy, CRO, SEO, and digital content.
- Exposure to CX best practices and tools; ability to influence customer journey design.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing teams.
- Strong communicator comfortable presenting to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
