Cloud Engineer

Salary: $115000.00 to $120000.00 yearly

Description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems and services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. You will play a key part in developing enterprise-level cloud solutions, troubleshooting issues, and leveraging automation to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and services tailored to enterprise needs.
• Manage and troubleshoot cloud environments, including serverless delivery systems and data recovery solutions.
• Administer virtual machines, operating systems, and integrations with third-party cloud platforms.
• Implement automation tools and service-based technologies to streamline processes and optimize system performance.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and apply them to enhance the functionality and security of cloud-based environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into existing IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain system health, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for improving cloud architecture and operational efficiency.
• Document processes and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud systems.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, Intune, and Microsoft Purview.
• Proficiency in managing systems, storage solutions, and data backup tools.
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of system and network infrastructure design, including servers and networking technologies.
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures.
