Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on AI Software Engineer with deep expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) workflows and a proven ability to build intelligent, purpose-built solutions from the ground up. This is not a role for someone focused solely on advising or configuring off-the-shelf tools, we need a builder who can design, develop, and scale AI-driven solutions in a fast-moving environment.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly technical, execution-oriented, and excited to help create an AI-driven foundation across RCM and broader healthcare operations. With client demand already in place, there is urgency to stand up capabilities quickly.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on software engineering and AI development experience
• Deep proficiency in Python and modern ML/NLP frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, and Anthropic APIs
• Experience building healthcare AI applications will be ideal
• Working knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards and EHR data structures, with Epic experience preferred
• Familiarity with CMS coding guidelines, payer logic, and specialty-specific reimbursement nuances
• Ability to build, test, and deploy practical AI solutions in a real-world healthcare environment
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across technical and operational stakeholders

• Demonstrated experience creating custom AI solutions rather than only implementing existing platforms
• Technically exceptional, with the ability to move from concept to production
• May come from a strong academic background and be early in career, but brings outstanding engineering capability

Pay range and compensation package

The hourly pay range for this position is $60 to $65 on a W2 basis. As a contract/temporary professional, you are eligible for medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance coverage.
