About the role

The ideal candidate is a high-performing Marketing Leader looking for the next step in their career as a Director of Marketing for RoadFlex.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with sales and product management to develop effective strategies for growing new revenue.  Thought leadership on growth strategies is essential, as are highly effective execution skills.  In particular, we require someone with the mindset and motivation to own the business success.

RoadFlex is starting to network with candidates, and will be ready to hire later in 2025.

What you’ll do

Strategic Marketing & Industry Expertise

• Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for fleet payments, fuel management, and business expense solutions that align with RoadFlex’s growth goals and industry trends.
• Leverage deep knowledge of fleet operations, financial management, and payment technologies to create compelling, results-driven marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
• Optimize budget allocation to maximize marketing impact and efficiency.

Market Positioning & Thought Leadership

• Position RoadFlex as a leader in fleet payments, fuel fraud prevention, and business expense automation.
• Craft industry-specific value propositions that address key challenges faced by fleet operators and finance teams.
• Establish RoadFlex as a thought leader through industry content, events, and strategic partnerships.

Market Awareness & Competitive Insights

• Stay ahead of fleet industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging financial technologies.
• Conduct competitive analysis to refine marketing strategies and highlight RoadFlex’s unique advantages.
• Identify key engagement channels, including digital platforms, trade publications, and industry conferences.

Demand Generation & Campaign Management

• Design and execute high-impact marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
• Use data-driven insights to refine messaging, optimize campaigns, and improve conversion rates.
• Work closely with sales to create targeted campaigns that resonate with decision-makers in fleet and finance.

Professional Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies for either fintech or fleet-related solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the fleet or fintech industry.
• Ability to identify industry pain points, articulate compelling value propositions, and determine the most effective marketing channels.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
• Expertise in demand generation, campaign management, and content marketing tailored to B2B audiences in the fleet and field services industries.
• Strong background in marketing analytics, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with Google Ads, GA4, and Hubspot is required.
