DATA ANALYST (AI)

RivetStays is a Toronto-based short- and mid-term rental operator building internal systems powered by AI, automation, and data.

We’re hiring a highly technical Operations & AI Systems Builder to run and build internal systems using agentic AI tools like Codex, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and automation workflows.

This is not a traditional analyst role.

We want someone who lives inside AI tools every day — someone who uses Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, and AI agents constantly to execute, automate, build, debug, research, and ship work fast.

You will not just manage projects. You will build and execute them yourself using AI.

What You’ll Do

• Build internal tools, automations, and workflows using AI coding agents
• Use Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar tools daily
• Build and maintain websites and systems using Next.js + Vercel
• Handle operational execution tasks and automate repetitive workflows
• Write SQL queries and maintain dashboards/reports
• Clean and reconcile operational data across systems
• Build AI-assisted systems for operations, reporting, and growth
• Assist the marketing team by helping build, automate, and improve growth systems and workflows
• Support implementation of tracking, analytics, landing pages, automations, and AI-assisted marketing infrastructure
• Work closely with the growth/marketing lead to rapidly ship and iterate projects using AI tools

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Deep daily usage of AI coding tools (Codex, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.)
• Strong technical problem-solving ability
• Comfortable building products and systems independently
• Experience with Next.js and Vercel
• Strong Google Sheets + SQL skills
• Experience with dashboards (Metabase, Looker Studio, or similar)
• Strong execution speed and attention to detail
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment
• Able to figure things out independently using AI tools

Huge Plus

• Experience with AI automations and agent workflows
• Familiarity with paid ads, tracking systems, funnels, or growth workflows
• Experience with APIs, scripting, or automation tools
• Startup or operator mentality

Compensation & Location

• Remote
• Approx. $500–900/month depending on experience
• Opportunity for larger responsibility and long-term growth

Important

• This role is for builders.
• If you are not actively using AI coding tools for most of your work every day, this is probably not the right fit.
• We are looking for someone who is deeply immersed in AI-assisted execution and can move extremely fast with modern AI tools.
