Digital Marketing Lead

Overview:

We’re seeking a growth-minded Digital Marketing Lead to own and scale our direct-to-consumer business for (plated) Skin Science (https://platedskinscience.com). This role owns the direct-to-consumer business and is accountable for driving revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability across the entire customer journey. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with analytical rigor, understands how to build a modern DTC growth engine, and thrives on translating ambitious business objectives into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own digital performance strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging channels
• Manage media budget and drive campaign performance against KPIs (CAC, ROAS, CPA, etc) and make real-time optimizations to maximize efficiency and ROI.
• Work with external media agency to plan, execute, and optimize paid digital marketing campaigns across channels including paid search, paid social, and other platforms
• Assist in media budget planning and forecasting to ensure efficient spend allocation across platforms and channels
• Drive end-to-end campaign planning across DTC: from ads to landing pages to post-purchase emails
• Collaborate with social team to generate high-performing UGC and branded content
• Lead funnel optimization (CVR, AOV, LTV) via testing, analytics, and retention strategies
• Oversee analytics, attribution, and reporting through Shopify and other sources
• Own and execute customer retention through email and SMS (Klaviyo)
• Relentlessly test to identify new growth channels
• Stay ahead of performance trends in beauty, health, and longevity

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in DTC marketing, understanding how to scale brands with both consumer obsession and disciplined performance
• Proven ability to scale performance channels and drive profitable growth
• Deep understanding of paid social and search, including UGC and creative testing
• Strong fluency in data — comfort analyzing performance and adjusting strategy in real time
• Familiar with Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Triple Whale
