Ringier South Africa has built a game-changing marketing and automation tool which is having very good results across our Media and Marketplaces portfolio of more than 120 companies. The tool is called the Content Distribution Engine (CDE), and its our response to a big shift in digital: content is everywhere, but distribution is fragmented, manual, and inefficient.
We built the CDE to solve this at scale — a platform that acts like 1,000 expert marketers, automatically adapting and pushing content across search, social, and discovery channels to drive free, high-intent traffic and repeat engagement. It’s already powering organic growth across Ringier’s marketplaces and media brands in multiple countries — and now, we’re scaling it beyond our walls. This is about transforming how digital businesses grow without growing their teams. We're looking for someone to help drive and define our growth into a powerhouse SaaS tool used across multiple industries.
Our Team Mission
Our mission is to drive the growth and adoption of the Content Distribution Engine (CDE) by helping clients maximize the value of the platform’s SEO, social media, and paid marketing capabilities. We aim to ensure that our clients extract full performance from the tool, optimising their digital presence and increasing revenue opportunities.
What will you do?
- As a Digital Marketing Consultant, your mission is to act as the bridge between clients and the CDE platform, ensuring that clients fully leverage its capabilities. You will play a dual role:
- Client Acquisition – Identifying target clients, conducting discovery calls, performing product demos, and ensuring that potential customers understand the value proposition of the CDE.
- Client Retention & Growth – Managing ongoing client relationships, optimising their use of the platform, providing insights on SEO and paid marketing performance, and driving deeper adoption of CDE’s full feature set to maximize their investment.
- You will work closely with clients to develop and execute strategies that increase their engagement, while also driving upsell opportunities and expanding our share of wallet with existing clients.
Tools and Tech
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Trello, Github, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- SEO & Analytics: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other related tools
- Paid Advertising: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads
- Social Media Management: Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and related social media ad manager tooling
- Familiarity with or ability to learn SQL for querying data would be an advantage.

- Strategic Thinking – Help clients align their marketing strategy with CDE’s capabilities.
- Clear Communication – Ability to explain technical marketing concepts in simple terms.
- Problem Solving & Adaptability – Quickly identify client pain points and provide tailored solutions.
- Project & Time Management – Ability to juggle multiple client accounts and priorities effectively.
What you will need
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing digital marketing role, ideally in an agency or SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of SEO and search engine marketing—including technical SEO, on-page, off-page, and content optimization.
- Experience running paid media campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, and other social platforms.
- Hands-on experience with social media marketing, including organic content distribution strategies.
- Experience in client success, customer relationship management, or account management, ensuring product adoption and retention.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting, particularly in measuring digital marketing performance and ROI.
- Strong presentation skills with experience in conducting product demos and discovery calls.
