We are located in False Creek, Vancouver, but our work is global, so we offer the flexibility to work remotely (though we do have an office in False Creek for when we need it). As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will need to gain working knowledge of HTML, Databases and Relational Tables, APIs, and be comfortable writing logic statements to control the flow and segmentation of contacts through various automated programs.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to be detail oriented, a great team player, have a desire to learn and keep up with changes in technology and advances in AI and marketing programs. As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of marketing automation campaigns and will be asked to support the design and scoping of new projects.

We will give you a lot of autonomy and responsibility in your work. In return, we need team members who will take that responsibility and grow both their clients and Revenue Automation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the implementation & delivery of digital marketing automation initiatives

· Ensure omnichannel campaigns are setup & delivered as scheduled, including building automations and campaigns as necessary

· Coordinate the creative and technical production teams

· Monitor & report email campaign performance metrics

· Provide input & ideas to improve email campaigns

· Perform quality assurance on data, links & email rendering across all email clients & web browsers

· Provide HTML development support

· Learn and implement marketing automation strategies & flows designed to increase lift and online conversion rates

· Proactively monitor industry best practices

· Learn and grow your skills (with our support, of course)

Desired Skills & Experience:

· 3+ years in a Digital Marketing or Communications role

· Familiarity with Acoustic Campaign (aka Silverpop), Marketo, Adobe Campaign or any other Email Service Provider is required

· Experience in email marketing campaign development and execution

· Familiarity with HTML and CSS knowledge is required

· Desire to learn & continuously improve

· Familiarity with Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

· Complete understanding of the Mac OS operating environment

· Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English
