Social Media Manager

We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to help us establish and grow our presence on social media platforms and support our work preventing plastic waste here and in lower-income countries.

• Passion for Environmental Issues A strong interest in plastic waste reduction, sustainability, and environmental conservation.
• Social Media Savvy Experience with social media platforms and tools, and an understanding of how to engage and grow an online community.
• Creativity Ability to create compelling and innovative content that resonates with our audience.
• Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a content calendar.
• Team Player Willingness to collaborate with a small, dedicated team and contribute ideas.

Role Description We are looking for a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to help us establish and grow our presence on social media platforms. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about environmental conservation, adept at social media, and eager to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup Create and optimize social media profiles
• Content Creation Develop engaging and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to communicate our mission and initiatives.
• Management Plan and execute a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts.
• Engagement Help interact with our online community.
• Analytics Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies to improve engagement and reach.
• Campaigns Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to support our projects and fundraising efforts.
