About The Role:

We’re hiring a seasoned product marketing leader to scale our SMB business and expand Responsive’s footprint through product-led, self-service channels. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, this is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends strategy and execution. You’ll lead the go-to-market and monetization strategy for our self-service offering - including sign-up and billing experiences - collaborating closely with product, design, sales, customer success, and support to create a seamless end-to-end journey from acquisition to onboarding, conversion, and expansion.

This role is ideal for someone with an analytical and customer-centric orientation who embraces AI as a competitive advantage. You’ll join an agile, results-focused marketing organization that is accelerating Responsive’s relevance and value as a pivotal technology in customers’ GTM tech stack.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive GTM Strategy:
  • Own and evolve the GTM strategy for our self-service offering, including segmentation, positioning, launch planning, monetization strategy, and lifecycle engagement.
  • Build the Foundation for Scalable PLG Motion:
  • Optimize key self-service components - such as sign-up flows, onboarding journeys, and purchase process - to drive acquisition, activation, and conversion
  • Improve growth loops, using focused experiments to remove friction and accelerate engagement, purchase, and adoption across the customer journey .
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment and Execution:
  • Act as the connective tissue across product, marketing, sales, customer success, and support to ensure a unified self-service experience.
  • Accelerate Expansion and Account Growth:
  • Identify signals and pathways that support natural movement from self-service to higher-tier offerings, including escalation to sales where appropriate.
  • Champion Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Report on performance of self-service offering using sales, product, and support data
  • Run funnel diagnostics to close the loop between acquisition, adoption, and retention
  • Scale Growth and Operational Effectiveness with AI:
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to scale and accelerate impact of our offering and GTM operations, driving efficiency and innovation within the organization.

Who You Are:

  • A strategic, entrepreneurial operator with deep PLG experience and a track record of building and scaling go-to-market motions in B2B SaaS
  • Equally effective at strategic thinking and hands-on execution - you can zoom out and roll up your sleeves as needed.
  • Exceptionally collaborative with strong cross-functional influence - able to drive consensus, move fast, and align teams around a shared vision.
  • Analytical to the core - you know how to derive insights from usage data, funnel metrics, and customer feedback to guide decisions and prove impact.
  • A crisp communicator who can inspire, align, and present with clarity and confidence to executive audiences.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information, and adapting plans as you learn and scale.
  • Outcome-driven and relationship-oriented - you don’t just get things done, you get the right things done, with an eye toward long-term impact and collaboration.
  • A lifelong learner with a global perspective - curious, coachable, and consistently showing up as a trusted teammate.
  • Bonus: Experience leading PLG motions for AI solutions in the sales/marketing tech stack

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years of progressive product marketing experience; B2B SaaS industry experience preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in PLG with progressive scope and leadership
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel marketing programs from brief to delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
