RenegadesMedia is a marketing and strategy firm that creates custom-built WordPress websites with high-quality design and performance in mind. We do not use pre-designed themes—every site we build is fully customized with Elementor Pro, and optimized for SEO, speed, and user experience.

We are looking for an experienced Web Designer & WordPress Developer to join our team and work on custom WordPress websites using Figma, Elementor Pro, and ACF. This role is fully remote and requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly skilled designer/developer who thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Develop Custom WordPress Websites

• Build fully custom WordPress websites (no pre-made themes)
• Use Figma for wireframing and design, then translate designs into WordPress
• Work with Elementor and Elementor Pro (and occasionally other page builders)
• Implement templates and global components

Performance & SEO Optimization

• Ensure all sites follow SEO best practices by using proper header tag hierarchy
• Optimize sites for fast load times and device-responsiveness
• Work on Bluehost-hosted websites, ensuring security and stability

Technical & Design Expertise

• Strong understanding of design theory and best practices in Ui/Ux
• Familiarity with custom post types, custom fields, and dynamic conditions
• Experience with CSS, HTML, and PHP (preferred, but not mandatory)

Communication & Collaboration

• Work closely with the Production Manager and Lead Web Developer
• Ensure tasks and deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment
• Proactively communicate status updates and issues—nothing should be left under the rug

Who You Are

✅ 3-5 years of experience in web design & development

✅ Fast learner & fast worker—able to keep up in a fast-moving workflow

✅ Detail-oriented—sites need to be pixel-perfect and structurally sound

✅ Proactive communicator—keeps the team updated and raises issues quickly

✅ Fluent in English (does not need to be native, but must communicate clearly)

✅ Not customer-facing but must work well internally with our team

Requirements

• Highly skilled in Figma, WordPress, Elementor Pro, and ACF
• Basic knowledge of CSS for advanced customizations
• Experience with Bluehost hosting

Compensation & Work Expectations

• Competitive pay (depending on experience)
• Flexible remote schedule, but work must be delivered on time
