About the Opportunity:
The organization delivers revenue cycle and related business solutions for healthcare professionals aiming to build healthy, thriving organizations. It provides powerful tools, actionable insights, and expansive network reach that medical businesses need to stay competitive in an industry constantly redefined by change. The UI Software Engineer III will develop, maintain, and migrate Onboarding applications and services, focusing on enhancing core solutions and supporting migration efforts to the cloud. The role involves close collaboration with product owners and technical leads and includes approximately 80% hands-on development and 20% mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and migrate Onboarding applications and services to the cloud
• Build upon and enhance core software solutions
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering leads to execute engineering efforts
• Mentor and guide junior developers
• Lead Onboarding engineers in delivering complex software solutions through design, development, deployment, and maintenance
• Formulate architectural strategies to support clinical document evaluation dashboards and future dashboard needs
• Coordinate software engineering efforts across Onboarding teams, providing leadership in delivering cross-team data pipelines
• Establish expertise in Onboarding processes and system architecture, defining roles for User and Organization systems
• Determine functional and non-functional requirements for evolving Onboarding products and services
• Collaborate with product and user experience professionals to lead design and development efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of full-time Software Engineering experience
• Strong full-stack development skills across back-end and front-end systems
• Experience with React, Typescript, and Material UI
• Experience working in large, distributed platform enterprise environments
• Proficiency in Java and REST APIs
• Experience with Gradle build tool
• Knowledge of object-oriented and functional design principles
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Postgres and Oracle
• Experience with containerized and serverless development in AWS or equivalent cloud providers
• Experience with git, gitlab, or similar source code management tools
• Ability to improve processes and practices proactively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive clarity amid ambiguity
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams across UX, workflow design, software engineering, data engineering, and business intelligence
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences
• Customer-focused mindset with desire to resolve complex issues and drive projects
• Significant experience with agile/scrum methodologies and collaboration with scrum masters
• Experience with production troubleshooting using APM tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or Datadog
Preferred Qualifications:
