About the Opportunity:

The TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER will lead security-related programs and projects within the Office of the CISO, establishing and growing the project management function. This role is key to driving initiatives that enhance security operations by coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining alignment among stakeholders, ultimately shaping how security projects are executed.

Responsibilities:

• Lead security programs from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps with milestones and ownership.
• Monitor risks and issues, escalating with mitigation plans.
• Drive project execution by engaging in technical discussions.
• Coordinate across Security, IT, Engineering, and other teams including international collaborators.
• Facilitate understanding between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide clear status updates and reports to CISO and leadership.
• Summarize technical documents accurately.
• Define and implement project intake, prioritization, and tracking processes.
• Establish planning and reporting rhythms and create standardized templates.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the project management function.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years managing technical programs or projects, preferably in cloud-based or fast-paced environments.
• Background in cybersecurity, software development, or cloud infrastructure; security program experience preferred.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to engage in security design and deployment discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive reporting.
• Self-motivated with ability to build processes from the ground up.
• Preferred: experience managing cybersecurity, IT, and engineering initiatives.
• Preferred: proficiency with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Kanban.
• Preferred: project management certifications (PMP, CSM, or equivalent).
• Preferred: experience managing distributed teams and using AI tools for project management.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Compensation range: $100,000 - $200,000 total compensation, potentially including equity and benefits.
• Final salary determined based on experience, skills, location, and organizational needs.
• Potential for merit increases based on performance and other factors.
