Sr. Software Engineer, Sdk (full Stack)

About the Opportunity:

The organization is focused on building a platform to help businesses scale with automation and AI. This opportunity is for a back end-leaning full-stack engineer to join the SDK team, designing and building a new SDK that empowers internal and external developers to create, extend, and scale automations.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement core features of a new SDK, ensuring scalability and extensibility.

• Develop infrastructure, tooling, and processes for external SDK publishing.

• Create documentation pipelines, testing frameworks, and CI/CD processes for the SDK.

• Build and maintain systems that serve both internal engineering and external developer needs.

• Define best practices, coding standards, and release processes for the SDK team.

• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and product engineering teams for ecosystem integration.

• Take ownership of complex technical initiatives and mentor team members.

Requirements:

• Experience building or contributing to developer platforms, SDKs, or open-source tools (preferably published to npm, PyPI, or similar registries).

• 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex, mission-critical backend systems (Python or Node.js preferred).

• Familiarity with API gateways and integration points.

• Frontend knowledge with typescript/react libraries.

• Hands-on experience with authentication mechanisms, including OAuth, API keys, and JWTs.

• Ability to design systems for scale and reliability, and prioritize developer experience.

• Ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong collaborative skills and comfort working with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Adaptability and a strong sense of ownership in fast-moving environments.

• Nice to have: experience with OpenAPI specifications, SDK code generation, telemetry collection, and cross-codebase contributions.
