About the Opportunity:
The organization develops a global automation and AI platform focused on helping businesses scale. This role is for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Developer Impact team, which enhances developer productivity by improving internal workflows, tooling, and processes with AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and platforms that boost developer productivity across the stack.
• Build and integrate AI-powered experiences to enhance how engineers build, test, and deploy software.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify workflow friction points and co-create scalable solutions.
• Define and promote standard high-velocity development patterns, including maintaining templates and internal frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Reliability teams to optimize CI/CD and developer workflows.
• Use and measure the impact of tools built, collecting both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback.
• Maintain clear documentation for internal tools and best practices to ensure rapid onboarding and unblocking.
• Mentor peers through code reviews, internal talks, and knowledge sharing, contributing to the team's technical direction.
Requirements:
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a senior or tech lead role.
• Experience with Python and Typescript for both backend and frontend development.
• Demonstrated ability to build tools, frameworks, or infrastructure that other developers use daily.
• Understanding of developer workflows, including local development and CI/CD, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as AI pair programmers, code review bots, or ML-driven CI optimization.
• Experience working in fast-moving, experimentation-driven environments using data and feedback to validate and iterate.
• Ability to collaborate across platform and product engineering teams to solve pain points.
• Strong documentation and knowledge sharing skills.
• Systems thinker with understanding of how decisions in CI/CD, testing, infrastructure, or local dev environments affect the broader system.
