About the Organization:
A global cybersecurity organization specializing in AI-native platforms that protect modern organizations at scale. This team focuses on developing and maintaining a core semantic data framework that supports cloud services, libraries, and databases, with an emphasis on data model interoperability.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop services and tools for data modeling, replication, and governance
• Collaborate with team members focused on query compilers and data pipelines
• Own features from initial design through delivery and ongoing support
• Serve as the team’s data modeling expert
• Participate in cross-functional design with other teams
• Contribute to the evolution of system architecture and its impact on development
Requirements:
• Experience building data model-driven declarative systems
• Expertise in service-based architectures and distributed databases
• Experience with highly concurrent, distributed, cloud-based systems
• Familiarity with relational databases and schema-less NoSQL or key-value stores
• Proficiency in transforming structured and unstructured data
• Production-quality coding experience in Rust, Python, Go, or C++
• Familiarity with basic compiler techniques such as parsing, AST transformations, and type checking
• Strong testing skills including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with automation
• Ability to deliver and receive feedback professionally
• Comfortable working in a distributed environment across multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with information architecture, code optimization, and performance profiling
• Familiarity with cloud databases such as Cassandra, Snowflake, Redshift, or analytics frameworks like Apache Spark
• Experience developing design tools, tests, or automation in CI/CD environments (Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Familiarity with functional programming paradigms (Erlang, Haskell, Scala, OCaml)
• Experience in high-assurance, safety-critical, or life-critical software domains
• Knowledge of generative or formal software verification methods (Alloy, TLA+, Agda)
