About the Opportunity:
The organization is building a platform to help businesses scale globally with automation and AI. The purpose of this role is to maintain and improve key integrations, ensuring reliability and quality within the integration portfolio. The position supports a distributed, remote-first team and enables customer automation at scale.
Responsibilities:
• Build features and ship bug fixes for high-priority integrations using the Developer Platform
• Solve complex problems by translating ambiguous goals into actionable work and defining measurement strategies
• Use observability data to improve reliability, adopt new API features, and prevent customer issues
• Support teammates through pair-programming, code reviews, and technical coaching
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver impactful features
• Debug and fix issues across services impacting integration users and developers
• Work on systems supporting extensive automation workflows
• Collaborate across teams to enhance integration quality and developer experience
• Contribute to positioning the organization as a leading AI orchestration platform
Requirements:
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years at a senior level
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js in production environments; familiarity with legacy code patterns
• Ability to navigate across codebases and services to trace issues, understand dependencies, and implement solutions
• High autonomy and self-direction; ability to translate unclear goals into actionable plans using experimentation
• Strong cross-functional communication skills for both strategic and technical discussions
• Experience mentoring and supporting engineers of diverse experience levels in a remote environment
• Quality-focused development with strong asynchronous communication and documentation habits
• Curiosity and continuous learning, especially with AI tools and efficiency improvements
Nice-To-Haves:
• Experience using data query and visualization tools (such as Databricks and Looker)
• Experience working with a variety of third-party APIs, especially enterprise platforms like Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, or Meta/WhatsApp
• Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, or prototyping processes for scaling quality improvements
• Previous experience with the Developer Platform or building similar third-party integrations/connectors
• Background in API versioning, deprecation handling, or managing breaking changes in production systems
