Sr. Software Engineer - B2B

2. About the Opportunity:

The Sr. Software Engineer - B2B will design and develop scalable features and services for core ticketing platforms that support high traffic and complex enterprise needs. This role is critical in building and optimizing APIs, distributed systems, and back-end infrastructure that power global operations. The position contributes by ensuring performance, reliability, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that advance the organization''s business objectives.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features and enhancements for global ticketing platforms

• Optimize applications to handle large spikes in traffic efficiently

• Develop core infrastructure services, APIs, and back-end products

• Scale distributed systems to support tens to hundreds of thousands of requests

• Create scalable public-facing APIs for partner integration

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, and product managers on solutions

• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain code quality

• Write consistent, well-tested code using open source languages and frameworks

• Implement security measures to combat fraud and bot attacks

4. Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, and .NET core ecosystems

• Knowledge of cloud environments and infrastructure as code

• Experience developing API services in AWS

• Background in building large-scale, high-performance transactional systems

• Strong communication skills

• Experience with service-oriented architectures and web services

• Familiarity with software development life cycles and quality standards

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

• Mentoring experience for junior colleagues

• Ability to learn new technologies independently

• Self-motivation and accountability

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript

• Familiarity with ReactJS or NextJS

• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Terraform

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch or AWS DynamoDB

• Experience with Git and Gitflow

• Familiarity with TDD or BDD

• Experience in ticketing, inventory management, or e-commerce

• Experience defining and maintaining REST APIs

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Pay scale: $133,309 - $150,000

• Eligible for bonus under current bonus plan requirements
