2. About the Opportunity:
The Sr. Software Engineer - B2B will develop scalable features and services for core ticketing systems that support high-demand, global enterprise applications. This role focuses on building B2B platforms that handle massive traffic spikes and complex integrations, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of mission-critical infrastructure. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that sustain the organization’s ticketing technology at scale.
3. Responsibilities:
• Design and implement new features and enhancements for global ticketing platforms
• Optimize system performance to handle large spikes in traffic
• Develop core infrastructure services and APIs for backend products
• Scale distributed systems to manage high volumes of traffic and requests
• Create scalable, public-facing APIs for partner platform integration
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, and product managers on solutions
• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain code quality
• Write consistent, well-tested code using open source languages and frameworks
• Implement security measures against fraud and malicious bot attacks
4. Requirements:
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Proficiency in C# and strong knowledge of .NET and .NET Core ecosystems
• Understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure as code
• Experience developing API services used by multiple systems on AWS
• Background in building large-scale, high-performance transactional systems
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and web services
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle and deployment standards
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Proven ability to learn new technologies independently
• Self-motivated, focused, and accountable
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Familiarity with ReactJS or NextJS
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Terraform
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch or AWS DynamoDB
• Experience with Git version control and Gitflow
• Familiarity with TDD and/or BDD
• Experience in ticketing, inventory management, or e-commerce industries
• Experience defining and maintaining REST-based interfaces
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Pay range: $130,309 - $135,000
• Eligible for bonus under current bonus plan requirements
