About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST role involves developing practical data science solutions and supporting customers throughout their engagement with the platform. This position contributes by enhancing customer understanding, integrating technologies, co-developing data science projects, and mentoring others. The role is crucial in enabling clients to successfully operationalize AI initiatives using the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Support users in mastering the platform through training, demos, and consultative assistance.
• Analyze diverse data science and machine learning applications across industries.
• Provide strategic guidance to customers and internal teams.
• Co-develop production-ready data science projects with clients.
• Mentor data scientists and customer team members to foster growth and development.

Requirements:

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technical skills.
• Empathy and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues, customers, and the public.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Over five years of experience in coding with Python, R, and SQL.
• Over five years of experience building machine learning models.
• Understanding of data systems and platform mechanics such as Cloud architectures, Kubernetes, Spark, and SQL.

What will make you stand out:

• Experience in consulting or customer-facing data science roles.
• Experience with data engineering or MLOps.
• Skills in developing web applications (JavaScript, RShiny, Dash).
• Experience building APIs.
• Familiarity with enterprise data science tools.
• Passion for teaching or public speaking.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• US national base pay ranges from $210,000 to $220,000 USD.
• Final compensation will be determined based on factors including location, experience, education, and skills.
• Eligible roles may receive commission or variable compensation.
