About the Opportunity:
This organization is a leader in cybersecurity, developing large scale distributed systems and advanced AI-native platforms to protect modern organizations. The team is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to help build globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud ecosystems, focusing on Golang and Large Language Models. The position is part of a group responsible for leveraging generative AI technologies to enhance a security analyst platform, using high-fidelity security data to empower users and reduce operational complexity.
Responsibilities:
• Advance backend microservices to address critical issues and implement solutions.
• Build cloud solutions for detecting and countering cyber threats using established tools and services.
• Develop and refine generative AI security analyst capabilities with Large Language Models.
• Construct and maintain data pipelines, manage data, and assist in training and implementing custom LLMs.
• Collaborate with teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Commit to continuous learning and self-improvement.
• Focus on customer challenges and seek ways to improve support.
• Adhere to coding best practices, rigorous testing, and effective monitoring.
• Work collaboratively within an agile team environment.
• Mentor and learn from fellow engineers on various technologies.
• Seek to refine architecture, models, user experience, performance, and reliability.
• Take ownership of work through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Function effectively in a trust-based environment.
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or professional experience in data structures, algorithms, or distributed systems.
• Experience with GenAI, LLMs, or Agentic Systems.
• Experience with big data and microservices.
• Understanding of scalability and distributed systems, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Knowledge of engineering best practices, including testing, code review, and resilient architecture.
• Ability to work in a test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment.
• Skills to deliver high-quality, unit-tested, and regularly integrated software.
• Familiarity or robust learning capacity for technologies such as Go (Golang), Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Redis, S3, EC2, IAM, Kafka, GIT, Cassandra, and ElasticSearch.
• Willingness to undergo background and fingerprint checks as required.
