Software Engineer, Video Platforms

2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, Video Platforms erole is responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and user-focused applications that support next-generation media platforms. This position plays a key role in accelerating delivery through the use of SaaS and low-code/no-code tools, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build solutions that directly impact the organization''s technology capabilities and product offerings.

3. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack software solutions.

• Develop scalable and fault-tolerant microservices and modern front-end applications.

• Utilize SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms to speed up development.

• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

• Write secure, performant, and maintainable code.

• Align technical work with product and architecture teams'' priorities.

4. Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years professional software development experience.

• Proficient in backend development languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.

• Skilled in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.

• Experience developing scalable microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Git, and CI/CD tools.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Preferred: experience with GenAI tools, SaaS, low-code/no-code platforms, serverless technologies, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring tools, modernizing legacy systems, DevOps practices, and media industry experience.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $105,000 - $140,000 yearly.
