2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineer will play a key role in the modernization journey by working on legacy systems and transitioning them to cloud-native platforms. This position involves developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and leading engineering efforts to meet deadlines with efficient solutions. The role contributes directly to improving the organization’s health care technology infrastructure and supports operational excellence. The position offers remote work flexibility across the U.S.
3. Responsibilities:
• Design, code, test, and debug applications and components according to technical specifications and business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and feature teams to develop requirements
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and recommend alternative approaches
• Lead engineering efforts to meet deadlines with optimal solutions
• Perform code reviews
• Build, deploy, monitor, and operate production services
• Communicate effectively with business and technical teams
• Mentor junior software engineers
4. Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in full software development lifecycle within an agile environment
• Hands-on experience building web applications and RESTful web services
• Familiarity with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, or similar object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks or libraries
• Experience using AI tools to improve software development quality and efficiency
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance eligibility
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years with Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architecture
• Experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation
• Experience building cloud-native applications on Azure or similar platforms
• Knowledge of encryption, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and OWASP
• Basic troubleshooting of Kubernetes applications
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, automated provisioning, and configuration management
• Basic understanding of networking and internet protocols
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment and factors such as location, education, experience, and certifications
• Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility
