2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, Platform is responsible for developing and maintaining backend services critical to the organization’s products and operations. This role directly influences the scalability and reliability of APIs handling payments, subscriptions, analytics, text-to-speech functionality, and external integrations. It offers an opportunity to strategically shape backend architecture and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance user experiences and enterprise solutions.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including text-to-speech, payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking

• Manage and optimize the backend API ecosystem for performance and maintainability

• Collaborate on enterprise B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend systems with product strategy and user experience

4. Requirements:

• Proven experience in backend development using TypeScript and Node.js

• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

• Ability to efficiently prioritize and implement tasks based on urgency and impact

• Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments

• Preferred proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• United States based salary range: 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience
